Our Story

We are a small farm that focuses on creating hand dyed yarn for all your fiber art creations.

The Story

Honey Girl Farms began as an idea. To create a place that would become fully sustainable creating yarn and other products for people to love and cherish. We are still working to achieve that goal.

Honey Girl Farms began as a couple of beekeepers looking to help save the bee population, and that sweet golden liquid they create is a big incentive as well. There isn’t much better than Honey that comes straight out of your own hive. We also raise Corriedale/Merino cross sheep for both wool and meat as necessary. That wool is currently sold raw to fiber artists and used for our personal projects. Some of our other creatures are chickens, the barn cats, and the dogs. The dogs may actually be the ones in charge.

As we work towards our goal of self-sustainability we love to create colorful themed yarn and fiber for you to use in your fiber art projects.
